Tummy Tuck
(Full Abdominoplasty)
The purpose of this surgery is to remove excess skin and fat from the level of the pubic hairline to the level of the lower ribs. In this procedure, the underlying abdominal muscular wall is also tightened. The belly button (umbilicus) is also re-contoured. This procedure not only tightens the skin in the up/down direction, but also side to side, providing a cinching effect of the lower abdomen. Surgery is performed under general anesthesia.
Indications
Accumulation of excess fat and loose, sagging skin in the abdominal area resistant to diet and exercise.
Procedure
Flattens, firms and smooths the abdomen by removing excess skin, fat and tightening the abdominal wall muscles
